Pastor Carolyn Matherson is native of Brooklyn, NY. Pastor Matherson accepted Jesus Christ at the tender age of fourteen. Her desire is to be a humble servant of GOD and do the will of GOD. Pastor Matherson is not only determined to get close to God but also desires that all would join her in pursuit of God, walking out His calling for their lives.

During the pandemic in 2020, GOD spoke to Pastor Matherson about ministry and called her to begin a work with women across the nation and abroad. In 2023, Pastor Matherson launched Empowered Women to begin to teach, and mentor women in becoming who God intended. In addition to ministering to women, Pastor Matherson has a love for leading both youth, and elderly in accepting and walking out their Kingdom call.
